What are Contact Preferences?
Communication between you, the Board, and your children's school is an important part of your children's educational journey, and we want you to receive information in a way that works best for you.
My Family Room allows you to specify how you would like to be contacted about your children's absences, events, or emergencies. You can subscribe to each of these categories, and set your contact preferences to one or more of the following:
- Voice message to your home phone
- Voice message to your mobile phone
- Voice message to your work phone
- SMS text to your mobile phone
- Email
You can set your contact preferences to be the same for all of your children, or you can customize the settings for each child.
Through the School and Board News category, you can ensure that your email address(es) are added to email lists accessible by administrators and teaching staff at your children's school and select members of the Upper Canada District School Board.
