Getting Started
To get started, view this 3-minute video that describes the process of loading funds using a PayPal account and paying for your first school event.
If you are an “on the go” person, make sure to download the latest My Family Room mobile app from the iOS and Android app stores! This will ensure that you can use all the latest functionality in My Family Room, including Online Payments.
How to Load Funds Through Website
To load funds onto your My Family Room account through the website follow these instructions: 2. Click on the EVENTS/OFFERS button 3. Look at the “Add Funds to your account” section 4. Click on a pre-selected amount, or enter a custom amount 5. Click on the PayPal LOAD FUNDS button
This will take you to the PayPal site to complete the transaction. You will be required to log in with your PayPal username and password at this step or you can continue as a guest.
Once the transaction is complete, you will be returned to your My Family Room account and the added funds will be reflected in your eWallet.
How to Load Funds Through Mobile Apps
To load funds onto your My Family Room account through the mobile app follow these instructions: 1. Open My Family Room app 2. Tap on the View Events/Offers option in the menu 3. Tap on Manage account 4. Look at the “Add Funds to your account” section 5. Click on a pre-selected amount, or enter a custom amount 6. Click on the PayPal LOAD FUNDS button
This will take you to the PayPal site to complete the transaction. You will be required to log in with your PayPal username and password at this step or you can continue as a guest.
Once the transaction is complete, you will be returned to your My Family Room account and the added funds will be reflected in your eWallet.
NOTE: When linking your bank account to PayPal, please be aware that some banks can take up to 3-5 days to clear your transaction before the funds are withdrawn from your account. This is not the case when you link a credit card to your PayPal account.
