I’m not getting notifications. What should I do?
Not Getting Notified?

This article will cover how to check your notification preferences, to ensure you are getting notifications.

If you are not receiving any of the different forms of notifications you should check your notification preferences in your My Family Room account.

Note: if the child has turned 18 years old, access may be denied to personal school information, to have this changed the student must inform the school to enable My Family Room access for their guardians.

How to Check Contact Preferences

To check your contract preferences on the My Family Room website or app follow these instructions:
 
   1.  Open the My Family Room App or website (myfamilyroom.ca) and log in.
   2.  Select your profile icon in the top right corner
   *   Follow additional App or Website instructions below

App:
   3.  Select the Contact Preferences button
   4.  select the notification type you wish to view/change
   5.  Select the green Edit pencil next to each students name
- or, to change preferences for all students  -
   5.  Select the 3 dots in the top right corner
   6.  Select or deselect your desired contact methods and click Save
 
Website:
   3.  You can now select each notification type and view/change preferences based on each student
   4.  In the Contact Preferences section, click the green Edit pencil for the notification/student you want to edit.
- or, to change preferences for all students  -
   4.  Select the 3 dots to the right of Contact Preferences, click on the preference type you want to change.
   5.  Select or deselect your desired contact methods and click Save
